Coach Education Programme:
The Coach Education Programme consists of conducting and presenting coaching courses, workshops and forums to help our coaches to become better coaches.

HNZ Small Sticks 9-12
HNZ Club Coaches
HNZ Youth Coaches
In addition to these courses the Coaching Department will also be running hockey specific ‘Coaching Forums’ and ‘Workshops’ and ‘Seminars’.
Keep an eye out on the website for dates and venues for these sessions.
Sport Auckland and GACU (Greater Auckland Coaching Unit) will also be running generic coaching seminars during the year.

Player Development Programme:
Auckland Hockey has had a proud tradition of championship winning teams and a strong presence in the BlackSticks Mens and Womens teams.
In order to continue this tradition we need to invest in the development of our youth players.
2011 Programme will be confirmed prior to Christmas.
